Ciliegine mozzarella, also known as ciliegini, are about the size of a cherry. Their name is, in fact, the Italian word for cherry. Made with Italian cow’s milk, 100% pasteurized, they have a fresh and delicate taste, a creamy appearance and an elastic yet stringy texture.

Porcelain white in color, it is a light and versatile cheese. You can enjoy it on the go as a healthy snack or add it to a variety of dishes.

 

Fresh mozzarella ciliegine: recipes

Our cherry-size ciliegini can be conveniently used to prepare healthy salads and appetizers. You can also serve them as a tasty snack for kids. Skew them with cherry tomatoes and basil for a savory antipasto, pair them with roasted peppers, prosciutto and cured meats or bread and fry them. Or use them to make a flavorful Caprese salad with tomatoes, basil leaves and EVOO.

Di Pasquo’s ciliegine mozzarellas are gluten free. Put them out of the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes before eating.
